BlueBear Board is a classroom management and gamification tool intended for use by educators. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, educational purposes and in accordance with these Terms and the school's policies.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must keep your login credentials confidential.
- You must not use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any student.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service.
3. Account Eligibility
The Service is offered to teachers, school staff, and educational institutions. Accounts may not be created on behalf of minors. By creating an account, you confirm that you are authorized by your school or institution to use the Service for classroom purposes.
4. User Content & Data
You retain ownership of all student data you enter into the Service. You grant BlueBear Board a limited license to store, process, and display this data solely to provide the Service. Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Availability & Modifications
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Offline functionality is provided on a best-effort basis through your browser's local storage; we do not guarantee data integrity in the event of browser cache clearing or device failure. Regular CSV exports are recommended.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlueBear Board and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of educational time, or service interruptions.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, associated data is deleted in accordance with the retention policy described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country of residence of the data controller, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
